Many Samsung smartphones are expected to receive the new Android 13 update by the end of the year, and now we know all the models that should benefit from it.


Several weeks have passed since the update of the new Google operating system Android 13 is available on Pixel smartphones, but other manufacturers have already started to implement it in their own devices, such as the manufacturer Chinese OnePlus on its OnePlus 10 Pro.

We are still waiting for Samsung, which until now has historically been one of the first to update to the new version, to roll out the update to its own Galaxy smartphones. Our colleagues from SamMobile managed to obtain the list of all the devices of the Korean giant that will receive the update before the end of the year.

12 Samsung smartphones will receive Android 13 before the end of the year

According to SamMobile, this is no less than 12 smartphones that will receive the new update early next year. As expected, the Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra must be the first to take advantage of them, but they will be quickly followed by the Galaxy S21E, S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra from last year.

On the foldable smartphone side, we were obviously expecting the recent Galaxy Z Fold 4 Y Galaxy ZFlip 4 be upgraded to android 13 before 2023, but they will not be the only beneficiaries. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 should also receive the new version before the end of the year.

Finally, another device could also be invited among the greats: the Galaxy A53. would be the Samsung’s only mid-range smartphone to be updated to Android 13 in 2022. As a reminder, the new version of Android 13 will obviously arrive on all smartphones with the new internal manufacturer overlay: One UI 5.0. The latter should bring some interesting new features, but above all correct interface fluidity problems to finally catch up with the competition.
