More than three and a half years have passed since Emiliano Sala lost his life. On January 21, 2019, the Argentine striker from FC Nantes boarded a Piper PA-46 Malibu to join the Cardiff City club, where he was to be transferred. The plane then crashed into the English Channel. The soccer player’s body was found at a depth of 67 meters two weeks later, while the pilot’s body was never recovered. David Henderson, the organizer of the theft, had been found guilty of recklessness or negligence “likely to have compromised a device”. Years after this tragedy, the investigation took a turn.
